The fish distribution information contained on the maps is used to locate, indentify and inventory freshwater distribution of a Salmonid species in Water Resource Inventory Areas 1-23 for references purposes only and is NOT to be construed or used as the actual distribution. The depicted upper limits of freshwater distribution are based primarily on the collective personal knowledge of the participants in local mapping workshops with additional consideration of other sources. This map represents a depiction of identified distribution (not absence) and may underestimate or overestimate the actual distribution. The fact that a represented stream does not show a species distribution does not mean that the species is absent. All accessible floodplain habitat should be considered to have the same species distribution as the main stem. All users of this map should seek the assistance of qualified professionals such as surveyors, hydrologists, or fishery biologists as needed to ensure that such users possess complete, precise, and up to date information on fish distribution. Map information is believed to be accurate but accuracy is not guaranteed. Any errors or omissions should be reported to Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission - SSHIAP Program. In no event will the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission be liable for any damages, including loss of data, lost profits, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss that might arise from the use of maps or the information they contain.
